Who can add a spot
Every registered user — whether or not you hold the Professional Photographer role. The community, not a credentialed few, is where new locations come from. You need an account: a visitor who is not signed in can browse spots but cannot add one.
What a spot needs
Open “Add Spot” and fill in the details of the place:
- Its name.
- The city and the region it is in.
- Its GPS location, picked on the map.
- One or more categories — Mountain, Desert, Café, Beach, Heritage, and more.
- The best season to visit it.
- A description.
What happens after you submit
Every new spot is reviewed by an administrator before it is published. This applies to everyone, always, and it is what keeps quality high while the door stays open.
Until the review is done your spot is Pending. You can follow its status — Pending, Approved or Rejected — and read any feedback from the administrator in “My Spots”.
If your spot is rejected
A rejection comes with the administrator's feedback. You can correct the listing and submit it again; it goes back into the review queue as Pending.
Once it is approved
Your spot is published with its name, location, categories, best season, description and photos, and you are credited on it as its contributor. From then on any registered user — not only you — can upload photos to it. Each photo belongs to exactly one spot.
